Roles and Responsibilities

The life of a Software Developer at eve Networks is fast paced, challenging and lots of fun. We operate small, collaborative, self-organising, agile teams with weekly iterations. The daily duties will include:

  • Playing an active part in the daily meetings
  • Participating in weekly review and planning meetings
  • Working in a small, dynamic, self-organising team
  • Designing solutions to company problems
  • Developing and testing Web-based Software, Mobile Applications and Windows/Web Services
  • Providing regular updates on progress of development tasks
  • Monitor and diagnose system problems.
  • Improving your craft and acquiring business knowledge
  • Learning new technologies and ways to do things.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Methodical and disciplined in approach to development tasks.
  • An ability to work successfully in a team.
  • Experience in an agile environment.
  • A positive attitude
  • Self-reliance where necessary

Skills Required

  • Experience of developing web, mobile apps and windows-based applications and services
  • Practical knowledge of the following languages: Angular, C#, HTML, ASP.NET, MVC, Xamarin, Maui.VB.Net
  • Experience of writing stored procedures and handling large datasets in MS SQL
  • Knowledge of Containerisation a benefit
  • Ability to add and adapt existing code bases
  • Ability to develop robust code to achieve agreed requirements
  • Ability to follow a requirement and to implement it in code
  • Ability to monitor, raise and resolve project or development issues

Hybrid working with an expectation to commute to an office 2-3 days per week.
